Sparkly metallic thread in a wide variety of colors from Au Ver a Soie ®
Unlike other metallic threads, when these threads pass through the fabric, the metallic fibers don’t break, preventing the thread from knotting or bunching, even with repeated stitching. For example, in needlepoint composite stitching where you are passing through the same hole of the canvas.
The thread doesn’t twist; it remains very supple and behaves – unlike other metallics. The secret is the construction of the metallic making a round thread. When stitched this means they lay beautifully on linen or canvas.
